I posted so much today because I won't have a lot time in the next few days. We have our Women's Day rally in Mississauga on Saturday, and preparations for the March 17 anti-war rally. Somewhere in-between, I must do errands that I've been postponing. Indeed, the US and Iran have a lot more common than they'd like to admit. For a so-called 'democratic country', the US has a deplorable record on women's rights. The Bush administration has cut funding to many important social programs. Heather Wokusch is a wonderful woman who works hard on women's issues and enlightening the rest of us. She is also a friend of mine. :) Glad to hear that, Kuri. I especially liked this one - I knew things were getting worse for USian women, but aside from reproductive choice issues, I hadn't been following it all too closely.
